Meal prepping benefits range from reduced cost and time spent to lower stress levels and more successful dieting. We actively assist our residents in taking control of their diet and the foods they are eating which is one of the best ways to make sure they are healthy and happy.
We offer assistance in both planning nutritiously balanced meals, but with overall diet planning. Having a plan and food on hand will prevent them from making poor, hunger-based decisions when they arise.
Meal prepping can also help reduce the stress that comes with trying to eat healthier or in some cases the simple struggle of feeding themselves. We provide deliciously balanced meals for our residents everyday.
Our Medication management includes Reminders, supervision, pill box, organization, daily log, individual medication administration, Medication Safety etc.
This is especially important with residents who struggle with understanding their regimen’s schedule or are experiencing cognitive decline/impairment that results in forgetfulness and confusion.
We patiently help our residents to understand their medicines’ purpose, safety, and effectiveness, as well as potential risks from mixing meds with food or supplements. Understanding why they need to take certain drugs and in specific ways can also encourage them to take a more active role in managing their meds and their overall mental health.
Golden Care Assisted Living will arrange safe and reliable non-medical transportation for our supported individuals to and from community activities which includes:
